Many Updates!

So it's been a very long time since the last time I posted. Neil was blogging like a mad-man for a while so I thought that Iwould just let him post...but that cam to a sudden end and now I blog when I have time...which isn't very often. So I decided to update everyone on our lives...there are quite a few.
Neil and I have started school again. Neil is taking two classes, he goes to school on Tuesday and Thursday, and I think he's enjoying them. I'm taking four classes. I go to school on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. It's quite an adventure. But it's nice because someone is always home to watch Emma. I just really don't want her to go to a daycare until we have to.
The biggest news of all is.......Neil and I bought our first place. Yes, a place of our own...finally. It's perfect. They're still building it but they should be done in October or November. We're so excited. It's a townhouse in Spanish Fork. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a 2 car garage...it's just perfect. I looked for about 4 or 5 months until I found the perfect place...I think I did pretty good...we got it for a really amazing price too. We are trying to wait until the time comes when we can move in....
Emma had her 18 month check-up yesterday and I was very impressed. Here are the stats. She weighs 21 lbs. which puts her in the 10th percentile, her whole life she's been in the 2nd percentile so that's quite a growth spurt. She is now 31 1/2 inches long and that's the 50 percentile, another growth spurt. And her head circumference is 18 1/2 inches, again 50th percentile. I was glad that she's finally growing. The doctor is concerned, as I am too, that she still isn't talking. We've talked about it before and yesterday Emma's doctor decided to have a speech therapist evaluate her, I agree with this decision. So we are just waiting to set up an appointment. I hope this helps. She isn't dumb and knows exactly what your saying. She knows all of her body parts and a TON of animal sounds...she just doesn't form words. I just think she doesn't want to...I don't know, I'm not the specialist.
But that's what's going on in our lives. A whole lot of fun and new things...we love every moment of it. Going 24/7.
